Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6.20 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed and highly organised School Admin Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. You will ideally have experience of working in a school office or a similar role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy, child centred environment.
We are a one form entry Catholic primary school where children are at the heart of everything we do. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school office and ensuring that pupils, parents and staff receive a warm, professional service.
Key Responsibilities -
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Answering inbound queries and making outbound calls
Liaising with parents and supporting communication across the school
Managing confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Supporting safeguarding processes and responding to medical needs
Ensuring school systems are accurate, up to date and well maintained
Providing general administrative support to staff and senior leaders
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous office experience and strong ICT skills
Communicates clearly and professionally with parents, staff, children and outside agencies
Handles confidential matters with tact and discretion
Builds positive, supportive relationships across the school community
Is highly organised, calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively
Works well as part of a team
Is willing to train as a First Aider and support with administering medication and maintaining first aid supplies (training provided)
