Job Title - After School Club Assistant

Hours of work - Tuesday and Friday 3.00pm - 5.30pm

Pay grade - Single Status Grade 3

Term Time Only - 38 weeks per year.

The position is part time and as such pay will be pro-rata. This will be approximately £2,830 per annum.

This position commences on 1st September 2026

Sacred Heart School are looking to appoint an After School Club Assistant for two days a week.

We are looking for someone who:

    • Is confident and calm.

    • Enjoys working with children

    • Is a good communicator

    • A team player and enjoys the outdoors.

Duties will include:

    • Supervising and encouraging playground and indoor activities

    • Supervising children whilst eating.

    • Providing a simple snack for the children - to include preparation and clearing up.

    • First Aid and record keeping

    • Following school policies relating to Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
