We are seeking a Business Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team, providing essential support to the Education Division’s Senior Leadership Team.

This is a busy and varied position where you will play an important role in supporting senior managers and working collaboratively with colleagues across the team. You do not need to have a background in education, we are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, a proactive approach, and a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities include organising meetings and agendas, taking accurate minutes, managing inboxes and correspondence, maintaining records and distribution lists, supporting events and board meetings and providing general administrative and project support.

We are looking for someone who:

    • Is well organised and has a strong attention to detail
    • Can manage their own workload effectively and meet deadlines
    • Communicates clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
    • Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

This is a hybrid role, combining home working with office-based work at County Hall, Lewes (your main base). The usual office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, although some flexibility may be required to attend on other weekdays, along with occasional travel across East Sussex.
