We are recruiting Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants for day shifts in a calm, homely environment.

Full training provided – experience is helpful but not essential for care assistant roles.

Join our friendly, supportive team at a small 26-bed residential care home in Worthing - St Georges Lodge, where every resident is known as an individual and care is genuinely personal.

Available Roles

Care Assistant – Day Shift

£13.45 per hour + weekend enhancements

24 - 36 hours per week (2 week rolling rota)

Senior Care Assistant (Medication Trained)

£13.85 per hour + weekend enhancements

36 hours per week (2 week rolling rota)

Your Role

Care Assistant responsibilities include:

• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with mobility and wellbeing checks
• Supporting residents living with dementia
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working as part of a supportive care team

Senior Care Assistant responsibilities include:

• Leading shifts and supporting the care team
• Administering medication
• Updating care plans and records
• Liaising with families and healthcare professionals
• Supporting and mentoring staff
• Promoting high standards of person-centred care
