At Burwash CE Primary School staff work hard to ensure that we recognise the skills, interests and talents of all children and recognise that pupils are individuals with differing strengths and weaknesses.

Burwash CofE School is looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our friendly and supportive staff team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our well-maintained school and beautiful grounds remain a safe, clean and welcoming place for our pupils, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Opening and securing the site as a key holder.

• Conducting daily health & safety checks.

• Performing a variety of basic DIY, maintenance and gardening tasks.

• Working independently during the week, with collaborative support o Fridays.

We’re seeking someone who is organised, self-motivated, flexible and practical.

Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is preferred but not essential.

There is opportunity for increased hours in the future.

You will be part of a committed, friendly and supportive staff team where your work is valued and appreciated. You will also receive training on a Friday from an experienced caretaker.
