Burwash CofE School is looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our friendly and supportive staff team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our well-maintained school and beautiful grounds remain a safe, clean and welcoming place for our pupils, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
Opening and securing the site as a key holder.
Conducting daily health & safety checks.
Performing a variety of basic DIY, maintenance and gardening tasks.
Working independently during the week, with collaborative support o Fridays.
We’re seeking someone who is organised, self-motivated, flexible and practical.
Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is preferred but not essential.
There is opportunity for increased hours in the future.
You will be part of a committed, friendly and supportive staff team where your work is valued and appreciated. You will also receive training on a Friday from an experienced caretaker.
