We have the ideal opportunity for a great teacher to join our lovely school with a one-day a week role job-sharing with an experienced teacher alongside a parallel Y5 class.

We are looking for someone to join our committed team, striving to provide the best for all children in the heart of the lovely town of Lewes, 20 minutes outside Brighton and with excellent rail links. This is a fixed term position to cover Maternity Leave starting on 1st September 2026 until 28th May 2027 and is for 1 day a week (Fridays, .2fte).

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
