The pupils, staff and governors of St Michael’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint a part-time (2 days, plus paid PPA) KS2 teacher to join our team, starting in September 2026. We are a small rural primary school on the East Sussex and Kent border, close to the historical town of Rye. The school is part of the Genesis Federation, made up of St Michael’s and two further local primary schools. Visits to the school are encouraged and welcomed.

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
