Registered Nurse (RGN) – Nursing Home – Brighton, East Sussex

• Location: Patcham Nursing Home, Brighton
• Salary: £23.75 per hour + enhanced weekend rate
• Hours: 24 per week (12-hour shifts, days and nights on a rota basis)

We are recruiting compassionate and dedicated Nurses to join our friendly team at Patcham Nursing Home in Brighton, including opportunities within our night team.

Patcham Nursing Home is a welcoming 30-bed residential and nursing home, providing high-quality, person-centred care in a calm and supportive environment. Each resident has a private en-suite room, supporting dignity, comfort, and independence.

This is a great opportunity for a compassionate Nurse who wants to work in a stable, well-supported home where residents are truly known as individuals.

Key Responsibilities

As an RGN in our nursing home, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care across day and night shifts
• Administer medications, including controlled drugs, safely and accurately
• Carry out clinical assessments, wound care, and ongoing health monitoring
• Update care plans and maintain accurate clinical records
• Respond to changes in residents’ condition and escalate when required
• Provide palliative and end-of-life care with dignity and compassion
• Liaise with GPs, district nurses, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Support and guide care staff to ensure high standards of care
• Ensure a safe, calm, and well-managed environment at all times

Who We’re Looking For

• A qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC registration
• Previous experience in a nursing or care home setting is desirable
• Confident in administering medication
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to high standards of care
