Marie Curie charity shops play a vital role in raising funds to support our nurses and the care they provide to people living with a terminal illness and their families.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Shop Volunteers to join our retail team and help deliver a great shopping experience. From fashion and homeware to books and unique finds, our shops offer a wide range of quality donated items, and we need your help to sort, prepare, and sell them.

Availability: 3 hours per week

Time: Shifts available Friday and Saturday mornings or afternoons

Location: Marie Curie Shop 88 Montague St, Worthing BN11 3HF

Criteria: Aged 14 or over. No previous experience required.

What you'll do:

  • Sort donations and uncover hidden gems
  • Prep items - steam, tag, and style for sale
  • Chat with customers and operate the till
  • Spruce up window displays and restock shelves
  • Keep things clean, tidy, and fabulous

Young Volunteers

If you are aged 14–17, you must:

  • Ask a parent our Guardian to complete and sign our Parent/Guardian Consent Form and
  • Upload the completed form when you submit your volunteer application - where prompted
