Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Consultant Engineer to join our Consultancy & Professional Services (CAPS) team, supporting critical infrastructure projects across data centres and high-performance environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on end-to-end engineering projects - from feasibility and design through to commissioning - while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and high-profile clients.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and deliver electrical design and consultancy across critical facilities projects
• Support projects from concept through to commissioning and handover
• Engage with clients through technical workshops, presentations, and reporting
• Develop specifications for LV/HV systems, UPS, standby power, lighting, and building services
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions
• Contribute to team development, mentoring, and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in electrical building services design including critical environments - data centres experience is desirable
• Knowledge of LV/HV systems, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure
• Comfortable working in client-facing and project leadership roles
• Experience using tools such as Amtech, Dialux (or similar) is preferred
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Other information: The role is a full-time position and can be either fully remote or hybrid-based (ideally from our Gatwick office). The base salary will be commensurate with experience and is expected to be highly competitive.
