St Mary’s School is looking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist with demonstrable interest in, or experience of, working with complex speech, language and communication needs.

St Mary’s is a residential special school and college for pupils / students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for assessing, planning and delivering individualised intervention programmes for a defined caseload. You will work with children individually or in small groups within classroom-based sessions and specialist therapy spaces to enable pupils to access the curriculum and promote meaningful engagement in school-based tasks.
