About this Role

Working closely with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners of all abilities. You will create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported and motivated to succeed, while maintaining high expectations for achievement, behaviour and participation.

You will be committed to developing students' historical knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills, enabling them to make strong progress and achieve positive outcomes. Through effective assessment and feedback, you will monitor progress and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of individual learners.

As a valued member of our staff team, you will contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting enrichment opportunities and collaborating with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning. You will uphold the Trust values of Honesty, Faith and Courage in your daily practice and be committed to promoting inclusion, wellbeing and high aspirations for all students.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher to make a meaningful difference to young people's lives while developing their own practice within a supportive school and growing Trust.

You have experience of planning and delivering lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities and are confident in using assessment to inform your teaching and improve outcomes. You understand the importance of creating an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued, supported and able to thrive.

You are a positive team player who builds strong relationships with students, colleagues and families and is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school. You are resilient, adaptable and committed to your own professional development.
