Hours of work: 16.25 hours as Teaching Assistant, plus 5 hours as Lunchtime Assistant
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Skylark Federation are looking for a Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Assistant to join our welcoming and friendly village school at Plumpton Green, Lewes. We have friendly and engaged families, happy children who are keen to do their best and a positive, supportive working environment.
Working Hours: Teaching Assistant, 8.30am - 12.00 noon and Lunchtime Assistant 12.00 noon - 1pm, Monday - Friday.
This position is to include some work on inclusion and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will support teachers. They will work with children and assist with all learning activities.
They will either work across the classroom, one-to-one with a pupil or with a small group, assisting children who may need a little extra help. You’ll be there to boost the confidence of the pupils you are working with, empowering the children in a nurturing and supportive environment whilst openly assisting the teacher.
You will be an extra pair of eyes in the classroom, picking up on any changes in behaviour and helping to ensure that every child has a safe and happy learning experience.
