Peacehaven Meridian Community Primary School & Nursery is seeking an organised, efficient and proactive Finance & Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated office team. This is a varied role supporting financial administration, marketing, parent communication and general office duties to help the school run smoothly and professionally.

About the Role:

As our Finance & Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting the School Business Manager with day‑to‑day financial processes and ensuring high‑quality communication with parents and the school community.

Your role will include:

    • Finance Administration

    • Marketing & Communications

    • IT Asset Management

    • Reception & Administration

    • Safeguarding & First Aid

About You -

We are looking for someone who is:

    • Highly organised with strong administrative skills

    • Confident in financial administration and record‑keeping

    • Able to accurately maintain IT asset systems

    • Skilled at prioritising workloads in a busy environment

    • Professional, approachable and an excellent communicator

    • Competent with Microsoft Office and financial systems such as Arbor Finance

    • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Desirable:

    • Experience in school finance or marketing

    • Knowledge of IT hardware management

    • Familiarity with safeguarding and health & safety procedures
