As an Academy within the Mulberry Schools Trust, we are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) to join the team at Mulberry Silverdale Primary.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school, working as part of a dedicated and passionate team. The role involves supervising and supporting pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and positive engagement while contributing to a nurturing and ambitious environment where every child is enabled to thrive, belong and flourish.

We are looking for a person who:

    • Has experience of working with children in a school or childcare setting
    • Enjoys working with children and is committed to supporting their wellbeing and development
    • Can supervise pupils effectively during lunch breaks, both in the dining hall and outdoor play areas
    • Will promote positive behaviour and encourage respectful relationships between pupils
    • Can support children in developing social skills, confidence and independence
    • Is vigilant, reliable and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment
    • Can respond appropriately to minor incidents and report any concerns in line with school procedures
    • Will work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues
    • Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff
    • Will support the wider ethos and values of the school
